Product Profile of 1-part Silicone Weather Seal
McCoy Silicones Limited offers 1-Part Silicone Weather seal, Sikasil® WS-305. McCoy Silicones Limited is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company. The 1-Part Silicone Weather seal is a neutral, 1-part, moisture curing, elastic joint sealant based on silicone. The 1-Part Silicone Weather seal is a high-performance silicone sealant. This 1-Part Silicone Weather seal is specially designed for sealing, bonding and mending tasks in glazing applications. It is particularly suitable for structural glazing and curtain walling. The 1-Part Silicone Weather seal is also suitable for used on alkaline substrates such as concrete and mortar.
The 1-Part Silicone Weather seal has the following characteristics and advantages:
- After cure: elastic at low [-40°C] and high [+150°C] temperatures
- Bonds to many materials without primer
- Outstanding UV and weathering resistance
- Long shelf-life: simplified stock-keeping
- Ready gunnability at low [+5°C] and high [+40°C] temperatures
- Compatible with water-based and solvent-based paints: no migration of plasticizer
